Appeal to Your Market with LED Work Light Bars

You’ll see plenty of drivers go off-roading with light bars. If you’re a service provider and shopping for supplies, consider work light bars. Here’s buying advice to help you if you’re new at the job.

Start with the Features

When shopping for LED work light bars, you want to consider the features. How is one set of light bars different from another? Which brands are more durable? Which designs are better? Some light bars are waterproof and have high lumens, which means they’re brighter. You’ll want to look at the beam type, too. There are five popular types, which include driving, scene, flood, combo, and spot.

Establish a Price Queue

Products often fall into one of three categories: low-cost, middling, and high-end options. Ensure your inventory supplies fit into all three categories. Creating a range of products like this allows shoppers to have enough options to shop for items. Keep that in mind when you shop for and stock up on LED work light bars for your inventory.

Consider Mounting Options

As a service provider, you want to offer your clients as many choices as possible. But you’ll also want to note which mounting options are more popular. Strike a balance between that, so you’ll end up with light bars that are a much better fit for your client’s needs. For instance, if you have more customers who drive a Jeep, that would mean stocking up on small light bars that your clients can mount onto the front point, just under the grille. However, if most of your clients like putting the light bars on top of the hood or above the windshield, that means stocking up on different light bars.

Look at Your Budget

Consider options well within your budget. However, like most things, you get what you pay for, so choose sturdy options that last long. They’ll make your clients happy. Also, the more features a light bar has, the higher its price tag. Only some features are helpful, though. It comes back to finding out what works best for your clients. Many trust you to give them tips or advice when buying light bars for their rides. Which one is perfect for their budget?

Explore Add-Ons and Accessories

You’re buying products your clients will love. Go a few steps further by finding out items they need more of. Look at your inventory sheets. More than the items that fly fast off the shelves, what other products or items can you bundle them with? What items will go well with light bars? What about other commercial and emergency vehicle lighting solutions? Expanding your inventory to include more products your customers need will increase sales.

Improve Your Inventory

Continuously improve the quality of your products. Consider different light bar options. For instance, if you’ve only been stocking up on small light bars, it may be time to add the rest:

  • Curved light bars are perfect for lighting up a wider plane. Customers who rock crawl or go camping will find them ideal. They do have one issue, though. They’re not ideal if you need to see far ahead since the curved design doesn’t allow for that much reach in visibility.
  • Waterproof light bars work best for customers who go water fording. The design means the light bars will survive exposure to water. Waterproof solutions are also easy to clean. Customers only need to pressure wash them.
  • Brightest light bars. Driving in no-light or low-light conditions can be dangerous. Customers who do a lot of camping will find bright light bars handy. With light bars that can illuminate their their campsites, they can stay safe, sleep, and set up enough guard and alarm systems around the perimeter. Provide clients with bright light bars and enjoy more sales.

Provide Guides and Tips

  • Offer value to your clients. They’re more likely to buy from your company if they know they can trust you. Create a guide or tips section. Tell them what they need to know before purchasing light bars.
  • Empower them with information. Provide information about specific issues. Address common problems they run into about light bars. That will help establish your role as a leading service provider that clients trust.
  • Encourage mixing and matching. Show clients what’s possible with light bars. Have Jeep models where you combine light bars and accessories from different brands. Be creative about those combinations. You want them to explore possible combinations with light bars.
  • Give a care guide. Clients appreciate care guides because that means you know what matters to them. A few tips on how they can better care for their light bars, how to improve its life span, what to avoid, and other vital information. Sure, they can search for all that online. But you can leave your mark on the care guide. It can also serve as a marketing tool for your business.
